Volunteer & Ride Coordinator:
This position supports all Center volunteers including training, scheduling, and ongoing support.
Duties also include coordinating medical and local ride scheduling. The Volunteer Coordinator works to create an environment where everyone can gather to socialize, have meals, and volunteer.
: We are a cooperative inter-municipal Community and Senior Center providing area residents with a welcoming place to meet, participate and volunteer while promoting independence, self-reliance and well-being for older adults and their families.
Cornerstone Community Center, 505 N. Main Street, DeForest, WI 53532
· Non-exempt, hourly pay range $18.00-$21.00 per hour based on experience
· 20-25 hours/week, morning through early afternoon, M-F preferred
· WI Retirement System pro-rated
· Pro-rated health insurance
· Recruiting and coordinating schedules for 150+ volunteers
· Scheduling medical and local rides
· Making community connections and promoting the Center
· Provide accurate and timely reporting and documentation
· Knowledgeable about resources and services for older adults
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn Center database
· Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
· Ability to work independently and with a team
· Valid drivers license
