Do you enjoy building something that works the moment you flip the switch?

Imagine taking a bare commercial chassis and transforming it into a fully outfitted work truck that serves cities and towns across Ohio. That’s what you’ll do at Concord Road Equipment (CRE), part of Buyers Products Company. We’re registered with the Federal NHTSA as an Intermediate and Final Stage Manufacturer of incomplete commercial truck chassis—and we’re growing.

Your Mission

• Select mounting locations and plan the routing for electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Build wiring harnesses; install and commission 12-volt accessories, lighting, and fused circuits.
• Connect installations to OEM electronics via splicing or provided connection points.
• Cut hydraulic hoses to length; crimp/fix the correct fittings; install pumps, valves, tanks, and fluid-powered components.
• Modify chassis components when required to meet the build plan.
• Function-test every system; secure, tie, and shield to company standards.
• Follow technical manuals and internal build guides; document your work thoroughly.
• Work safely using PPE, submit maintenance requests, and communicate hazards; meet agreed timelines.
• Comply with CRE procedures and supervisor direction; perform additional related tasks as needed.

What It Takes

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade/technical schooling preferred.
• Hands-on knowledge of vehicle mechanics, 12V electrical, and hydraulic/fluid controls.
• You bring your own hand, air, and power tools.
• Comfort with overtime; forklift experience preferred.

Work Setting & Physical Expectations

• Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
• Move safely around powered industrial equipment.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; operate power and vibrating tools.
• On-site position to support active manufacturing.
