Job DescriptionOur financial services client is looking for a UX Researcher to join their team, working onsite 3 days per week (flexible), averaging 35-40 hours per week. The UX Researcher will play a critical role in supporting the design team by uncovering user insights that inform product and design decisions. The UX Researcher will leverage qualitative and quantitative research methods to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points across a variety of customer segments, including merchants and network customers. The ideal candidate is data-driven, collaborative, and adaptable, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.UX Researcher Responsibilities:- Own and manage surveys to capture insights from merchants and network customers; experience with Qualtrics strongly preferred.- Conduct usability testing and analyze results to improve user experience.- Utilize online research platforms (e.g., Dscout (preferred), UserTesting) for remote testing and studies.- Perform user interviews across diverse merchant segments, from SMBs to large enterprises.- Design and execute surveys for B2B customers, synthesizing findings into actionable recommendations.- Collaborate closely with Product and Technology teams, working collaboratively to influence strategic decisions.- Lead through data-driven insights while maintaining openness to feedback and alternative perspectives.- Communicate findings clearly and effectively to cross-functional stakeholders.UX Researcher Requirements:- Demonstrated experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods (e.g., usability testing, interviews, surveys).- Familiarity with online UX research tools (preferred: Dscout; others like UserTesting acceptable).- Experience in survey design and data synthesis; Qualtrics experience strongly preferred.- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, development) to plan research and drive actionable outcomes.- Strong soft skills, including adaptability, clear communication, and openness to feedback.- Ability to lead through data and present findings to influence decisions.- B2B research experience is ideal but not required.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information.
