+ Oversee and manage all aspects of government contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating terms and conditions.
+ Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies for government contracts.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related matters, both internally and externally.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute contract strategies that align with company objectives.
+ Analyze and mitigate risks associated with contract terms and conditions.
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.
+ Provide guidance and support to team members on contract matters, including training and mentoring.
+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with government agencies and other external stakeholders.
+ Monitor contract performance and identify areas for improvement or potential issues.
+ Participate in proposal development and review to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
+ Advise and assist in the resolution of contract disputes or issues.
+ Stay current on industry and government contract regulations and make recommendations for process improvements.
+ Represent the company in meetings and negotiations with government agencies and other contractors.
+ Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payment for contracts.
+ Contribute to the development and implementation of company-wide contract policies and procedures.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor s Degree and 6 years of relevant Contract Management experience or equivalent education/experience.
+ Advanced knowledge of DoD contracting
+ Advanced knowledge of FAR/DFAR
+ Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, customers and suppliers;
+ Utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate reports and documents - Microsoft Office
+ Make decisions using sound judgement while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
+ Develop/demonstrate research and presentation skills.
+ Ability to prioritize and multitask.
+ Excellent organizational and follow through skills.
+ Detail oriented.
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Advanced Degree MBA
+ Professional Contracts Certifications: CFCM, CPCM, DAWIA etc.
+ Experience supporting ship repair or other industrial activities
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $90373 - $153634
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
