**Job Description** **MONTLAKE - RADIOLOGY SUPPORT** has an outstanding job opportunity for a **PATIENT TRANSPORTER / Hospital Assistant** position. **WORK SCHEDULE** + 100% FTE (40 hours per week) + 3:00pm - 11:00pm + Evening Shift **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION** + Radiology at Montlake provides diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic services to Montlake's patients and providers + Through our various services and locations we touch almost every patient at some point in their care continuum + Our faculty, technical and support staff are dedicated to providing the absolute best care and service possible **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** + Transportation of patients, supplies, and specimens + Transports patients via gurney, wheelchair and bed to ancillary departments + Ordering and stocking of supplies + Maintain / set up of special equipment + Participate in unit and selected departmental activities to promote effective problem solving and communication **REQUIREMENTS** + Valid Nursing Assistant-Registered (NAR) or Nursing Assistant-Certified (NAC) with the State of Washington + High school diploma or GED equivalent + Six months experience involving customer service in a health care setting OR six months experience involving direct patient care OR equivalent education/experience. + Valid American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers upon hire **ABOUT UW MEDICAL CENTER-MONTLAKE** UW Medical Center is an acute care academic medical center located in Seattle with two campuses: Montlake and Northwest.
