This role is for a motion designer who wants creative influence inside a category-defining brand. At Milan Laser, motion design is a growth driver and this position will work directly with creative leads, the Creative Director and CMO. The role will shape how performance creative looks, feels, and converts at scale for the industry leader. This position will have a voice in defining what great motion design looks like for our organization as it continues to grow and scale.

The ideal motion designer will be part of a fully in-house creative team building work seen by millions, and generating value every day. This position will generate ideas that inform concepts, testing strategies, and creative direction across paid and organic channels. Milan Laser is driven by data, and this role will have visibility to see what works, why it works, and drive the evolution of the brand. What You'll Do

• Design and develop motion graphics for prospecting and retargeting campaigns that drive lead generation and ROAS goals
• Edit UGC content optimized for paid social channels
• Collaborate with the creative team to help shape motion concepts and visual approaches, contributing ideas that elevate performance marketing beyond execution
• Bring promotional motion design experience to performance work while expanding into organic social executions that support brand storytelling
• Create platform-specific assets tailored to Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, and Snapchat, following each platform's creative best practices
• Edit long-form content that drives emotional connection with consumers through compelling storytelling, branded motion elements, and intentional pacing for CTV and YouTube
• Support brand content shoots through ideation, planning, and post-production processes
• Collaborate with performance marketing strategists to review ad performance and iterate on creative based on data insights
• Stay current on creative trends and platform-specific best practices to continually improve campaign performance
• Test and optimize motion assets based on campaign performance data
• Work closely with the Motion Design Manager and creative team to elevate the brand's performance marketing content

What You'll Bring

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in motion design with a portfolio demonstrating performance-driven creative required
• Demonstrated experience creating promotional, premium brand motion design for social-first creative, supported by portfolio examples
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud for Motion(After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator) required and a background in graphic design preferred
• Strong foundation in motion design principles including timing, easing, composition, hierarchy, and typography as applied to performance marketing and brand storytelling required
• Strong understanding of how creative performs across different social media platforms required
• Demonstrated ability to use data and performance metrics (leads, ROAS, CPL, CVR) to inform creative decisions required
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality output required
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams required
• Ability to demonstrate Milan core values required
• Experience with Blender, Cinema 4D, Figma, DaVinci Resolve, Cavalry, or Rive preferred
• Experience editing and animating for YouTube or long-form content preferred
• Basic experience with sound design, music timing, or audio cleanup preferred

Role Location: Omaha, NE - Corporate Office | On-Site

***This position is open to remote candidates within the U.S. Mountain, Central, or Eastern time zones. Preference will be given to candidates located in or near the Omaha metro area.
