POSITION SUMMARY:
· To ensure the safe and efficient operation of hospital buildings, equipment, and hospital grounds through provision of skilled maintenance, repair, and construction duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Training:
High school graduate or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum of three years experience working as a fully qualified maintenance mechanic which required the use of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
Licensure/Certification:
Current NC Drivers License with a good driving record as verified by the North Carolina Department of
Public Safety required.
Knowledge and Skills:
· Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
· Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and shops equipment.
· Available for 24 hour on call responsibilities
