It is the mission of the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) to continually enhance the professionalism of California law enforcement in serving its communities.

POST is recruiting for the position of LEC II in the Training Delivery and Compliance Bureau (TDC). TDC is responsible for the development of training curricula for California Peace Officers.

A  COMPLETE STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS (SOQ) IS REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED ALONG WITH YOUR STATE APPLICATION. IF THE SOQ IS NOT SUBMITTED THE APPLICANT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW.

  1. Provide a narrative summary of your professional experience as it relates to the Peace Officer Standards and Training Law Enforcement Consultant classification.

  1. Provide an example of a task where you independently gathered and presented feedback from stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of training programs, leading to improvements and enhancements.

  1. Provide your experience with conducting investigations within a law enforcement setting, including any notable cases of outcomes.
