Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Christ the King Catholic School is seeking a full-time Kindergarten teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. The teacher will create a caring, Christian, and positive learning environment for academic, social-emotional, and spiritual development. He/She will develop lesson plans, formulate classroom instruction, and facilitate learning for all students. The teacher will provide accommodations to support the student’s growth in the general curriculum and if necessary also work with resource staff to adjust instruction to meet the needs of all students. The teacher will maintain the student’s academic progress and records along with various assessments to document the progress of the student through the year. The teacher will maintain a line of communication with the parents, students, and school staff.

*Practicing Catholic
* Strong rapport with students, faculty, staff, and parents
* Willingness to participate in a faith-filled, vibrant community
* Committed to the mission of Christ the King Catholic School

Education and Experience
*Nebraska Teaching Certificate (or in process of becoming certified)
*Safe Environment Trained
* Expertise in curriculum, instruction, and assessment in content area
* Experience working with Elementary and Early Childhood students is preferred.
