3rd Shift Production Supervisor

Arden Hills, MN | Direct Hire | $65,000 – $75,000

Sunday night at 11:pm-7:30am Friday morning

 

Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to lead 3rd shift manufacturing operations. In this role, you will oversee daily production activities, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and timely delivery goals are met. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who excels in a fast-paced environment and is committed to developing both individuals and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the production team to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Plan and manage staffing levels, production schedules, and workflow for the shift.
• Train, coach, and evaluate team members to ensure proficiency and engagement.
• Monitor production metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to meet business objectives.
• Enforce company policies and regulatory compliance (OSHA, FDA, ISO, etc.).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma principles.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing or production supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma (Yellow Belt or higher preferred).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.
